01The policy in short
If a course is not what you expected, you can hand it back and get your money returned as Quanta wallet credit — provided you ask within 7 days of buying it and have completed no more than 25% of its lessons.
| What you get back | The full amount you paid, as Quanta wallet credit |
| Time limit | 7 days from the date of purchase |
| Consumption limit | No more than 25% of the course completed |
| How to ask | The "Request a refund" button on the course in your dashboard |
| Decision time | Acknowledged within 2 business days, decided within 5 |
| Paid to | Your Quanta wallet — not back to your card or bank |
02Why refunds are paid to your wallet
Quanta is a teaching platform, not a shop. When you buy a course the money is split immediately: the tutor is credited for the work they are committing to, and the platform keeps its share. Returning a purchase to the original card would mean reversing payouts that have already been made to a person.
So we do it the other way round: we give you the full value back as credit you can spend on anything else on the platform, straight away, without waiting for a bank to process anything. In practice, that means you get your money back faster than a card refund and you can immediately use it on a different course or tutor.
This is the whole of it: we do not return money to cards, bank accounts or payment gateways. Please do not buy a course expecting to be able to convert the purchase back into cash — that is not something this platform offers.
03When a course can be handed back
A purchase qualifies when all of the following are true:
- You paid for the course. Free enrollments have nothing to return.
- You are asking within 7 days of the purchase date shown on your receipt.
- You have completed no more than 25% of the course. Your exact figure is shown on the request screen before you submit, so there is never a surprise.
- You still have active access to the course in your account.
- You have not already had a refund request decided for this purchase — one request per purchase.
How the 25% is measured
It is the completion percentage the platform already tracks for you: lessons marked complete out of the total lessons in the course. It is the same number displayed on the course card in your dashboard, so you can check where you stand at any time before asking.
What is not covered
- Live one-to-one sessions follow the cancellation rules in the Terms of Service: free to cancel or reschedule 24 hours or more before the start time, charged in full inside 24 hours or for non-attendance.
- Wallet top-ups are not course purchases and are not covered by this policy. Money you topped up and have not yet spent stays yours: as set out in the Terms of Service, it remains refundable to your original payment method to the extent it represents money you actually paid us. Credit we issued as a course refund or a goodwill gesture is not, since no money was paid for it.
- Courses removed from your dashboard yourself. Removing a course is not a refund request — it gives up your seat without returning any money. Use the refund request button instead if you want the money back.
04How to request a refund
- Open My Courses in your dashboard and find the course.
- Choose Request a refund. The screen shows the amount, how much of the course you have completed and how many days of the window are left, before you commit to anything.
- Tell us briefly what went wrong. It is optional, but it helps us fix things.
- Submit. You can withdraw the request at any time before it is decided.
If you cannot reach the dashboard, email billing@quantaonline.net from the address on your account with the course name and your order reference, and we will file the request for you.
05What happens after you ask
- We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and decide it within 5 business days.
- Each request is reviewed by a person. Meeting the 7-day and 25% conditions is what qualifies a request; we do not decline requests that meet them for arbitrary reasons.
- If it is approved, the credit lands in your wallet immediately on approval, and your access to that course ends at the same moment. Your progress is kept, so if you buy the course again later you pick up where you left off.
- If it is declined, we tell you why in writing and your access to the course continues unchanged.
- You are emailed the decision either way, and it is recorded in your dashboard.
Buying the course again
A refunded course is not gone forever — you can buy it again at any time at the price then shown. The refund does not entitle you to free re-entry, and the original purchase cannot be refunded twice.
06If you disagree with a decision
Reply to the decision email, or write to billing@quantaonline.net with your order reference. A second member of the team who did not make the original decision will look at it again.
Please come to us before raising a chargeback with your bank. Almost every dispute is a misunderstanding about which purchase or which window applies, and we can usually resolve it the same day.
